We got tired of copying prompts from forums and screenshots that half-worked on the model they were written for and not at all on any other. So we built a library where every prompt is tagged, tested, and reviewed before it goes live.
PromptEra didn't start as a company — it started as a spreadsheet three freelancers used to keep track of prompts that reliably worked for client work. Every new model release broke half of it.
We rebuilt it as a proper library with one rule: nothing goes in without being run against the model it's tagged for, more than once, by more than one person. That rule is still the whole product.
Today PromptEra is used by freelancers, in-house marketing teams, and engineering teams who'd rather start from something tested than a blank cursor.
Everyone on the team still writes and tests prompts weekly — it's how the library stays honest.
